Job training – a requirement for the employer
Under the Work Environment Act and the “Regulations on the Use of Work Equipment” (Ordinance Nos. 701 and 703), employers are required to provide employees with appropriate training, drills and instruction on the safe use of fall protection equipment, aerial work platforms, mobile platforms, lifting equipment, procedures for securing and hooking up loads and the handling of dangerous tools.
This requirement also applies to individuals who operate businesses covered by the Working Environment Act without employees.
